The Balvenie 12 "The Sweet Toast of American oak" whiskey is one of the six limited edition references belonging to The Balvenie's "Stories Whiskeys" collection.
Inspired to produce an even fruitier and sweeter Balvenie whiskey , maltmaster Kelsey McKechnie had the bright idea of importing Virgin Oak casks from Kentucky.
After being deeply roasted at The Balvenie Cooperage, they were filled with Balvenie aged in vintage bourbon barrels.
The result is a deliciously complex whiskey with notes of candied fruit, coconut and delicate vanilla.
