The La Mancha Denomination of Origin is a wine-growing region located in the province of Ciudad Real, in the autonomous community of Castilla-La Mancha, in central Spain.

It is one of the largest wine production areas in the world and is characterized by its continental climate with Mediterranean influence, with cold winters and hot, dry summers. La Mancha wines are made from a wide variety of grapes, such as Tempranillo, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and others.
