Aalto Wineries and Vineyards

A few years later, in 2006, they joined AALTO The Masaveu and Nozaleda families, both with wineries they owned in other wine-growing areas of Spain, brought experience and stability to the project, which led to the consolidation of the winery to this day.

From its beginnings in 1999 until the 2004 harvest, the wines were produced in rented facilities in Roa (Burgos). As the project took shape, the search began for a new location to build their own winery. A beautiful 15-hectare plot of land in the municipality of Quintanilla de Arriba (Valladolid) was chosen.

The first phase of the new winery was completed in 2005, and this vintage was the first produced in these facilities. The modern design chosen for this new winery was based exclusively on the highest quality standards. The winery's architecture is perfectly integrated into its surroundings, in a very characteristic area of ​​the Ribera del Duero region, with a linear and harmonious design, devoid of ostentation, featuring minimalist, elegant, and comfortable details. A second phase of the building, corresponding to the more social area of ​​the winery, was completed in 2016.
