Bushmills alberga la destilería de whisky con licencia más antigua del mundo. Los registros oficiales se remontan a 1608, cuando la zona obtuvo la licencia para destilar. Más de 400 años después, el whisky se sigue elaborando en Bushmills gracias a la experiencia y la artesanía transmitidas de generación en generación.

A sólo unas millas de la escarpada costa norte de Irlanda, continuamos destilando tres veces cebada 100% malteada en alambiques de cobre para elaborar whisky de pura malta.

We couldn't make our whiskey anywhere else but here. Our water, drawn from the Bush River, flows over beds of basalt rock.

Bushmills gets its name from the mills that were located throughout the town along the Bush River.
