Margie Samuels created packaging that would honor her husband's handcrafted bourbon. The bottle's shape, the label design, the distinctive red wax, and even the Maker's Mark name are all thanks to Margie. Margie is also credited with inventing bourbon tourism.
Bill Samuels, Jr. transformed the brand from a Kentucky favorite into an American icon. His innovative wood plank finish laid the foundation for Maker's Mark's innovation today.
Rob Samuels has left his mark on the land as an eighth-generation distiller.
