Richard Seale, the current owner, is now the fourth generation of rum merchants and changed the course of family history with his new designs for Foursquare stills in 1996. The Foursquare distillery is now located on the site of a former 17th-century sugar factory.
As a family-owned business, Foursquare has the freedom to process and develop its products as it sees fit, which sets it apart from most Caribbean distilleries owned by large spirits conglomerates. Doorly's rums are part of the family legacy and are undoubtedly an integral part of Seale's portfolio.
The Exceptional Cask Selections represent Foursquare Rum Distillery's unique and exceptional offerings, hand-picked by Richard. His personal projects are only released when he deems them to be of outstanding quality. These are one-of-a-kind expressions, available only for a limited time, showcasing truly unique approaches to both blending and maturing the rum.
