Viticulture and territory

Habla is an Extremaduran wine project that has its essence in 200 hectares of difficult land, slate, not very fertile and very demanding . Not receiving enough water, the strain fights to survive and strives to find it itself, giving little but its best. In this way, a grape is obtained that will tell us with its aromas where it was grown, a grape that speaks. The Trujillo soil gives all the grape varieties grown there a strong personality that allows the production of unique wines.

The Bodegas Habla estate, cultivated by the Greeks in ancient times, houses the building that currently houses one of the most advanced wineries in Spain . The intense research work carried out there covers all areas and processes that have to do with viticulture and oenology. Habla has the best advisors in each field and the latest techniques available.

In addition, it has collaborated with highly prestigious entities such as the Faculty of Sciences of Zaragoza, the Faculty of Oenology of Bordeaux or the University of Berkeley in very diverse studies, such as the influence of irrigation on the aromatic capacity of grapes or the measurement of sap flow for plant water knowledge. Perhaps the most important of all these works is the one aimed at reducing sulfur dioxide in the winemaking process, from the results of which all Habla wines directly benefit, making them tastier and healthier.
