This rum is distinguished by three fundamental pillars that the Caldas Liquor Industry calls its "secrets":

Raw Material: It is made from the distillation of the first pressing of virgin sugar cane honey from the region.
High Altitude Water: The water used comes from our own springs located in a forest reserve near the snow-capped mountains, at altitudes between 2,200 and 5,000 meters above sea level.
Mountain Aging: Matured for 15 years in Colombian white oak barrels (a native species), which have a medium-high toasting that provides unique tannic and astringent notes, different from American or French oak.
