DESCRIPCIÓN

Malleolus de Sanchomartin is undoubtedly one of the most impressive wines produced at Bodegas Emilio Moro. The object of numerous awards and recognitions, Sanchomartín's Malleolus has already become a classic and an international reference, praised by prestigious publications such as Decanter and Wine Spectator. A wine that will offer us its full potential if we have the patience to let it rest in the bottle for about 6 or 8 years.

Only 2,500 bottles of this iconic wine, from Pago de Sanchomartín, will see the light of day. This estate of around one hectare, located in Pesquera de Duero and planted in 1964 with grafts from the Moro family clone, offers grapes loaded with tannins and with high acidity that allow the harvest to be delayed while ensuring a long life for its wines. .

Named in honor of the Pago de Sanchomartín, a vineyard located in the municipality of Pesquera de Duero, which was planted in 1944 and later grafted in 1964 with prickles from the Clone of the family's oldest vineyards. It stands out for being a powerful, elegant and persistent wine.
