FINCA CQ 2023
D.O.P. Jumilla
CATA
Color rojo rubí brillante con reflejos violáceos. Capa media y aspecto limpio y luminoso.
FINCA CQ 2023 arises from the careful blending of different plots within Finca Casa Quemada (CQ: Casa Quemada), located at an altitude of approximately 700 meters in the northern part of the Jumilla PDO. This family estate, sheltered by the Sierra de la Cingla and Peña Rubia mountain ranges, boasts diverse soils—deep sand, green marl, and limestone—and old Monastrell vines (planted between 1981 and 1990). The project is managed by Elena Pacheco and Isio Ramos have opted to recover this centuries-old vineyard through soil analysis and solar orientation, seeking to reflect that viticultural heterogeneity in a single wine .
After manual harvesting and fermentation in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts, the wine rests for 7 months in concrete tanks (90%) and oak barrels French 500 L (10%), without cold filtration, to maintain its authentic character The result is a genuine expression of the Jumilla terroir: fresh, balanced, with the density of Monastrell and the energy of high-altitude vineyards.
