DESCRIPCIÓN
Malleolus de Sanchomartin is undoubtedly one of the most impressive wines produced at Bodegas Emilio Moro. It has received numerous awards and accolades.
Sanchomartín's Malleolus has already become a classic and an international benchmark, praised by prestigious publications such as Decanter and Wine Spectator. This wine will reach its full potential if we have the patience to let it age in the bottle for six to eight years.
Only 2,500 bottles of this iconic wine, from the Pago de Sanchomartín vineyard, will be produced. This estate, covering approximately one hectare in Pesquera de Duero and planted in 1964 with grafts of the Moro family clone, yields grapes rich in tannins and with high acidity, allowing for a later harvest while ensuring a long life for its wines.
Named after the Pago de Sanchomartín vineyard, located in the municipality of Pesquera de Duero, which was planted in 1944 and later grafted in 1964 with vine cuttings from the oldest family vineyards. It stands out for being a powerful, elegant, and persistent wine.
