Karuizawa, the Japanese distillery called the new series "The Golden Age of Showa" focuses on the rarest Japanese distillery, Karuizawa.

Located at the foot of Mount Asama, northwest of Tokyo, the distillery has been the source of many legends since its closure in 2000. The entire series includes single cask whiskies distilled between 1971 and 1974.

Karuizawa has quickly gained an international reputation thanks to the meticulous selections made by Eric Huang, one of Asia's leading whisky experts and an avid collector.
