Tomatin Legacy has been chosen in 2022 as the best whiskey in the world with 99 points out of 100 by the prestigious IWSC . It is produced from malted barley and pure spring water in the Scottish highlands.
To make this whiskey , a distillation process is used in copper stills, which allows obtaining a high-quality alcohol with a smooth flavor. The whiskey is then matured in bourbon barrels and American virgin oak barrels for a set period of time, giving it its characteristic flavor and aroma.
It stands out for its softness and balance, with sweet and creamy notes of vanilla, caramel and toffee. In addition, you can perceive fruity flavors of apple and pear, along with a light touch of spice and smokiness on the finish.
