Made in the traditional way from sugar cane molasses. It is then aged for aMinimum of 12 years in oak barrelsThe youngest rum in the blend is the one that marks the years of aging. Doorly's 12 is a blend of rums distilled in Foursquare in column and pot still (for complexity and depth). 90% of the blend is aged for 12 years in bourbon barrels, the remainder is aged in Madeira barrels.

DESCRIPCIÓN

Doorly's has been produced at Foursquare Distillery since 1996, although this rum was the first bottled rum to be exported from the island of Barbados in 1928. Today, its production fuses the most modern and avant-garde methods, using a still and column distillation system with the classic style of Barbados rum.

Foursquare Distillery has been the International Spirits Challenge (ISC) Rum Producer of the Year four times, from 2016 to 2019, and the International Wine & Spirits Competition (IWSC) Rum Producer of the Year in 2016, 2018 and 2019.

Doorly’s 12 Años es un ron de Barbados clásico que destaca por su complejidad y equilibrio. Elaborado en la destilería Foursquare, sin ningún tipo de aditivo ni azúcar añadido, combina destilados de alambique y columna, envejecidos durante 12 años en barricas de bourbon (90%) y de Madeira (10%) .

En nariz, se perciben aromas de frutas tropicales, vainilla y notas amaderadas. En boca, ofrece sabores de plátano, caramelo y especias, con un final largo y seco.
