Una apertura compleja donde el humo de turba y alquitrán se mezcla con aromas de jamón ahumado, miel de pino, bayas oscuras y un toque floral inusual que recuerda al agua de rosas o jazmín.

Nariz

En boca es untuoso y potente. Se perciben olas de humo medicinal seguidas de café espresso, aceitunas negras, chocolate negro y pan de centeno horneado. Final persistente y algo seco. Destacan notas de ceniza, pimienta cálida y un toque refrescante de mentol o eucalipto hacia el final.

This whisky is a carefully selected "marriage" of two types of maturation:

- Cabernet Sauvignon barrels: From the prestigious Napa Valley, they contribute notes of red fruit, velvety tannins and a spicy complexity.

- Classic ex-bourbon barrels: They provide the sweet, vanilla and American oak heart characteristic of Ardbeg.
