DESCRIPCIÓN
It is an elegant expression of one of the winery's most personal projects: a wine made exclusively from the Two Blondes vineyard, owned by Andrew Will's own family, located in the Yakima Valley, Washington. This vineyard was planted in 2000 with a selection of Bordeaux varieties and has been managed ever since according to sustainable viticultural principles, resulting in a distinct and consistent identity over time.
The 2017 blend reflects a meticulous balance between Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, with proportions adjusted according to the personality of each vintage. The winemaking philosophy is based on minimal intervention in the winery, separate fermentations, and controlled aging in mostly used French oak barrels to respect varietal purity and the character of the vineyard.
Two Blondes 2017 stands out in Andrew Will's portfolio as a wine that combines structure, finesse, and authenticity, showcasing the potential of the alluvial and clay soils of the Yakima Valley. It is a serious and expressive red wine, designed to evolve elegantly in the bottle and demonstrate the depth of one of the most understated yet consistent terroirs in the American Northwest.
