Bodega Vallegarcía is one of Spain's most unique winemaking projects and a leading example among the Vinos de Pago (single-estate wines) of Castilla-La Mancha. Located on a unique and perfectly defined estate, Vallegarcía embodies a winemaking philosophy based on absolute respect for origin, meticulous attention to detail, and a constant pursuit of identity.

Officially recognized as a Vino de Pago, the highest quality category for Spanish wine, Vallegarcía produces exclusively wines from its own estate. The entire process, from vineyard to bottle, takes place on the property, guaranteeing complete control over the quality and expression of the terroir.

A single estate as the origin of all the wines

The heart of Vallegarcía is its estate, located in the northwest of Castilla-La Mancha, in a secluded and privileged natural setting. The soils, the continental climate with a marked Atlantic influence, and the careful orientation of the plots create an ideal ecosystem for producing estate wines with their own distinct character.

There are no external purchases of grapes here, nor are there any blends of origins. Each bottle of Vallegarcía is a faithful interpretation of the vineyard it comes from, reflecting the characteristics of the landscape year after year.

Varieties adapted to the terroir

Varietal selection is one of the pillars of the project. Garnacha, Cariñena, Syrah, and Viognier are cultivated according to the specific characteristics of each plot, always seeking a natural balance between ripeness, freshness, and aromatic expression.

The result is wines that move away from the traditional stereotypes of the region and show a more elegant, precise and contemporary side of the wines of Castilla-La Mancha.

Precise and respectful preparation

In the winery, the philosophy is clear: minimal intervention and maximum respect for the grapes. Harvests are carried out selectively, plot by plot, at the optimal moment of ripeness. Vinification is adapted to each variety and vintage, with the aim of preserving the wine's identity without masking it.

Aging is used as a tool for refinement and balance, never as a dominant element. Carefully selected woods and carefully controlled aging times allow the wine to evolve without losing freshness or character.

Recognition and individual personality

Vallegarcía wines have received recognition from specialized critics and the most demanding enthusiasts, consolidating the winery as one of the most solid projects within the Vinos de Pago in Spain.

Beyond awards or scores, Vallegarcía stands out for its consistency: one estate, one vision, and an honest way of interpreting wine.

Bodega Vallegarcía doesn't seek to attract attention with artifice. It prefers that the vineyard speak for itself and that each wine clearly and authentically express the place it comes from.
