Maison Laurent Perrier

Sipsmith Independent Spirits

Bernard de Nonancourt created the Laurent-Perrier style: freshness, elegance, purity. To achieve this, he employed traditional Champagne practices, but also initiated and encouraged new technical approaches to winemaking. The result is a range of unique wines, each with its own story and style. Laurent-Perrier is renowned for its flavor and the consistency of its quality, Cuvée after Cuvée.

Owned by Laurent-Perrier since 1989, the 50-hectare estate is the jewel of the House's Prestige Cuvée, Grand Siècle. Located in the heart of the Grands Crus, a few kilometers from Tours-sur-Marne, Château de Louvois was embellished in the 17th century by the same great artists who worked for the Sun King. Vauban, Mansart, and Le Nôtre all participated in its reconstruction, incorporating elements similar to those of Versailles, such as the creation of French-style gardens with their fountains and ponds, the Orangerie, and its orchard. Château de Louvois connects the spirit of the Grand Siècle, the 17th century, with this great Grand Siècle Champagne.

Laurent-Perrier is an independent family House famous for being a pioneer and innovator in the champagne sector. Through its commitment to sustainable viticulture in Champagne vineyards, and through each of its cuvées.

The history of Laurent-Perrier and that of gastronomy have always been closely intertwined. Since the 1950s, the House has developed a range of champagnes based on freshness, elegance, and purity to perfectly complement French cuisine, both as an aperitif and throughout the meal. Since then, Laurent-Perrier has consistently partnered with leading figures in the culinary world, enhancing their creations.
