Alión is the little "son" of Vega Sicilia, although it is made in an independent winery. It gains a lot of strength as the years go by and has already become an essential among the great Spanish reds. A somewhat more accessible way to discover the Ribera del Duero of what is surely the most iconic signature of this designation of origin. 2018 was a fresh, Atlantic vintage, this Alión being a more vertical, more tense and elegant expression.

This wine is currently suitable for drinking, but has a storage potential of 20 years if kept in optimal conditions: 12-14ºC and 60% relative humidity.

A pioneering, independent and current character resulting from the evolution of a famous family of great wines. Recognized, distinguished and praised for the authenticity of his temperament, Alión today symbolizes a universal spirit with a vocation for the future.

Between 12 and 14 months, depending on the characteristics of the vintage, it is made entirely in new French oak Bordeaux barrels.

It will remain for no less than 15 months in the stillness of the bottle, where it will finish assembling all the primary aromas of the fruit with the nuances provided by its delicate aging, resulting in a fleshy, complex and intense wine.
