SLOPE OF THE HARES 2020 Boxed

A fine red vineyard guided in a vertical glass, surrounded by the pine forest and the scrubland. 3.36 hectares planted in 1993 that extract the essence of the nutrient-poor soils of this plot in the Carraovejas valley. The slope achieves equal sun exposure for all the strains. The birthplace of an exciting grape. The exact interpretation of an extraordinary origin. Made only in exceptional vintages. The expression of a precise and pure vineyard. A radical wine, from the roots. Powerful and very persistent. An authentic wine.

DESCRIPCIÓN

As in every vintage, and after a first selection in the vineyard, We harvest the grapes by hand and transport them in small boxes to the winery, where they pass through a cold chamber and onto a selection table.

We moved the grapes using only the force of gravity. The alcoholic and malolactic fermentations took place in small wooden vats, with indigenous yeasts from our estate to show and highlight the personality of the terroir.

The wine remained in new extra-fine grain French oak barrels for 24 months.
