Malleolus is a red wine made in the DO Ribera del Duero by Bodegas Emilio Moro. Emilio Moro is a family winery that continues to produce in a traditional way, taking advantage of the knowledge inherited from generation to generation since its foundation more than 70 years ago. The name of this wine, Malleolus, comes from the Latin word hawthorn, a term used in the area to refer to vineyards. The Tempranillo used to make Malleolus comes from the Camino Viejo vineyard, planted in 1989 at 890m high.
