Twenty-four hectares owned, six rented and two meticulous producers from Labastida and San Vicente de la Sonsierra.
This is how our prized wines are born, under the watchful gaze of the Toloño mountain range. We believe that the secret to a good plot of land lies in knowing how to combine soil, orientation, and grape variety.
Our vineyards, ranging in age from zero to one hundred years, are dominated by Tempranillo from Rioja Alavesa. Garnacha (both white and red), Viura, Graciano, and the fantastic Malvasía, planted in our oldest plot, complete our diverse range of varieties.
The harvest is our goal every year; what we don't achieve in the vineyard, we won't achieve in the winery. We carry out 70% of the harvest in 15 kg boxes and the rest in 2,500 kg carts. We harvest manually, and weather permitting, in a slow and very deliberate manner.
Spain
