DESCRIPCIÓN

Vatan 2021 is a single-vineyard wine from the Toro DO, made exclusively with Tinta de Toro grapes from very old vines. These are historic vines, with very low yields, that produce incredibly concentrated natural fruit. The winemaking process is precise, and the aging focuses on integration and refinement, not on defining characteristics. The aim is to showcase the pure identity of the terroir and the grandeur of the variety with minimal interference.

Aromatically, it is firm and profound, with dark black fruit, mineral notes, hints of cocoa, and fine spices. On the palate, it is intense yet balanced: powerful, polished tannins, great density, sufficient acidity to support the structure, and a long, straight finish that lingers with character. This is a wine that demands a large glass, aeration, and careful attention.

Vatan 2021 is a unique and very serious vision of Toro. A collector's red wine with a distinctive personality that can be enjoyed now with aeration, but which has the power, structure, and balance to evolve to greater complexity with years of bottle aging.
