DESCRIPCIÓN
Anzil Wineries and Vineyards has 90 hectares of Tinta de Toro located in the valley of the Guareña River. Its Technical Director is Almudena Alberca , the first Spanish woman to hold the prestigious title of Master of Wine. Bodegas y Viñedos Anzil is part of the Bodegas Palacio 1894 group with presence in La Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Rueda and Toro.
La Poda Tinta de Toro wine is a single-varietal Tempranillo. The grapes come from vineyards that are more than 40 years old. At the beginning of vinification, the grapes are cold macerated for 4 days to preserve the fruit aromas and achieve greater extraction of color and soft tannins. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature and finally the wine is aged in barrels for about 4 or 6 months.
