Founded in 1958 in the town of Borja (Zaragoza), the winery has evolved from its cooperative roots to become a solid and prestigious brand, without losing its connection to its land or the people who work it.
The essence of Borsao lies in its vineyards: over 1,500 hectares cultivated by hundreds of local winegrowers, many of whom own small plots with old vines, some over half a century old. These vineyards, planted in stony and calcareous-clay soils at varying altitudes, produce grapes of great concentration, freshness, and aromatic richness. The Garnacha variety, in particular, finds its finest expression here, resulting in intense, fruity wines with remarkable structure.
In its modern and efficient winery, Borsao combines traditional techniques with cutting-edge technology to ensure the utmost care at every stage of the process. From young and expressive wines to more complex and aged labels, the winery offers a wide range designed to satisfy all wine lovers, without ever compromising on quality.
Committed to sustainability, Borsao has integrated environmentally friendly practices into its production process: from the design of its facilities to the responsible use of natural resources. Its development model also contributes to maintaining the economy and way of life in rural areas.
With a presence in over 60 countries and numerous awards to its name, Bodegas Borsao is synonymous with accessible excellence. Each bottle represents the soul of a land and the passion of those who cultivate it. An invitation to discover the authentic flavor of Aragonese Garnacha.
