Dominio del Bendito was born in 2004 in Toro (Zamora), the fruit of the dream of the French winemaker Antony Terryn , who after traveling through various wine regions of the world, found in Toro the perfect terroir to make authentic wines with soul.
The winery works with Tinta de Toro vineyards, planted in the traditional bush vine system and on their own rootstock, some over a century old, situated in sandy soils with pebbles that offer excellent drainage. The cultivation is organic, without the use of pesticides or herbicides, and traditional practices such as hand pruning and harvesting by hand in small crates are employed to preserve the quality of the grapes.
In the winery, the focus is on artisanal, minimal-intervention winemaking , using epoxy-lined concrete tanks for long, controlled fermentations, and selected French oak barrels for aging. The result is intense, structured, and elegant wines that faithfully reflect the character of the Toro terroir.
Among their wines , "El Primer Paso" , "Las Sabias" and the emblematic "Titán del Bendito" stand out, all of them recognized for their quality and unique personality.
