Founded in the late 1990s, Casa de la Ermita is one of the pioneering wineries in modernizing viticulture in the Jumilla Designation of Origin . Located in the La Aragona area , at the foot of the Sierra del Carche Regional Park (Murcia), its vineyards are cultivated between 700 and 900 meters above sea level, which lends freshness and elegance to its wines.
The winery combines tradition and technology to produce wines with identity, focusing on native varieties such as Monastrell , along with other noble varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon , Petit Verdot or Syrah .
In a privileged natural setting, Casa de la Ermita was also one of the first certified organic wineries in the region, and stands out for its respect for the environment, its innovation and its export vocation.
Currently, their wines —from aged reds to signature wines— are present in more than 25 countries, and have been recognized with numerous international awards.
