DESCRIPCIÓN
Pintia 2021 is one of the flagship wines of the Toro DO and a modern, refined expression of Tinta de Toro , a native variety with enormous character. It comes from old vineyards located along the Duero Valley, planted in poor, sandy soils with pebbles, which limit vigor and concentrate the quality of the grapes.
The area's extreme continental climate, with hot summers and very cold winters, combined with meticulous viticulture and precise winemaking, results in a wine of great intensity and balance. On the nose, it offers deep aromas of ripe black fruit, notes of plum and blackberry, accompanied by spicy, balsamic, and elegant toasty nuances from its barrel aging.
On the palate, it is ample, structured, and silky, with firm yet well-integrated tannins, balanced acidity, and a long, persistent, and characterful finish. Pintia 2021 is a wine with great aging potential, combining power, freshness, and finesse, showcasing a contemporary and precise interpretation of the Toro character.
