DESCRIPCIÓN
The Latour Beaune 1er Cru “Vignes Franches” 2021 is a sophisticated expression of Pinot Noir in the Côte de Beaune. Sourced from a Premier Cru vineyard with vines over 30 years old, grown in clay-limestone soils, this wine reflects the richness and elegance of its terroir.
After a manual harvest, the grapes are vinified in open vats and aged for 10 to 12 months in French oak barrels, 25% of which are new. In the glass, it displays an attractive deep ruby color.
On the nose, it offers a complex aromatic range: black cherry, blueberry, floral notes, and subtle hints of nutmeg and cocoa . On the palate, it is fresh, structured, and balanced , with flavors of ripe fruit, soft spices, and a silky, lingering finish.
Ideal to accompany dishes such as duck confit, stewed beef or soft cheeses , this wine can be enjoyed from its youth with decanting, but can also age elegantly for a decade or more.
