Kirkilla Ameztoi 2020 is a distinctive txakoli made in the historic DO Getariako Txakolina, in Getaria (Gipuzkoa, Basque Country). The Ameztoi winery—a family business with more than five generations of winemaking tradition since 1820—has revived an ancestral method with Kirkilla: fermentation and aging in French oak barrels of 600 L, following a tradition passed down by their ancestors .
Produced with the native variety Hondarrabi Zuri, this wine is made with great care, integrating both the grape and the wood in a process that brings together the best of both worlds: tradition and elegance The result is a txakoli with a character marked by a vibrant expression of the Cantabrian terroir—coastal meadows, calcareous soils and Atlantic climate—and by the warmth of the barrel, which adds complexity and depth to the whole.

Es estructurado, envolvente y equilibrado, con una acidez fresca que le da vivacidad, y un final largo, salino y mineral, muy característico del txakolí de terruño atlántico.
