The 2022 harvest in Rioja was marked by significant climatic contrasts. Winter brought extremely cold temperatures, with abundant rainfall and snowfall, including the impact of Tropical Storm Filomena.
The summer, on the other hand, was warm and dry, although there was some rain just before the grape harvest.
October stood out as an extraordinary month, resulting in a diverse harvest. The weather conditions, with their wide temperature range, allowed the grapes to achieve a perfect balance.
