Las Mercedes del Cabriel 2020 is a single-varietal Bobal red wine made with grapes from old vines located at almost 900 meters above sea level in the Utiel-Requena region. This wine reflects the unique character of the indigenous Bobal variety, combining power, elegance, and freshness.
Carefully vinified in concrete and wooden tanks, and aged for 16 to 18 months in French oak barrels, the result is a profound and expressive wine. It displays an intense cherry-red color. On the nose, it unfolds aromas of ripe red fruit, violets, sweet spices, and a subtle balsamic touch. On the palate, it is fresh and balanced, with polished tannins and a long, lingering finish.
