DESCRIPCIÓN
Regueirón 2022 is a single-varietal white wine made with Godello grapes from the plot of the same name, located in Éntoma Valdeorras, Spain, renowned for its clay-loam and slate soils and its distinct Atlantic character. Produced by the Virxe de Galir winery, this wine is born from sustainable viticulture and meticulous hand-harvesting: the grapes are harvested in 15 kg crates, ensuring careful selection of the bunches before fermentation in small oak and concrete tanks .
Aged on lees for between 4 and 11 months (depending on the source), Regueirón 2022 seeks to highlight the freshness and vitality of Godello, balanced with a medium-bodied texture that adds complexity without losing lightness. Its Parker score of 94 points and 92–94 in the Peñín Guide confirm its remarkable quality .
This wine represents the true expression of its terroir: slate soils, an altitude close to 600 meters, and an Atlantic-influenced climate, which together with the use of native yeasts and artisanal fermentation, give rise to an elegant, genuine proposal with its own character .
