The 'Appellation' range of wines from Bodegas Catena Zapata faithfully reproduces the concept of Burgundy village wine. As in France, this collection of wines has its main focus on terroir, so the area of origin becomes much more important than the grape variety or aging. Historical and small vineyards such as Lunlunta, Agrelo or Paraje Altamira give their names to the wines.

Among them is this Catena Paraje Altamira Malbec, a red wine made only with grapes from that place, a magical corner of limestone soils capable of offering wines of fantastic acidity and imposing minerality.
