La historia de esta bodega comienza en 2001, cuando una condesa italiana descubrió esta lejana tierra, plantó un viñedo de cinco hectáreas al pie de la barda (un paisaje muy patagónico que hace referencia a la pronunciada pendiente compuesta de grano oscuro de roca volcánica, con abundante cuarzo, carbonato de calcio y calcáreo) y comenzó a producir vino al estilo Borgoña - la bodega construida junto al viñedo con pequeñas piscinas de hormigón abiertas en la parte superior para la producción artesanal, empleando pigeage.

The story of this winery begins in 2001, when an Italian countess discovered this faraway land, planted a five-hectare vineyard at the foot of the barda (a very Patagonian landscape that refers to the steep slope composed of dark-grained volcanic rock, with abundant quartz, calcium carbonate and limestone) and began producing Burgundy-style wine - the winery built next to the vineyard with small open concrete pools on top for artisanal production, employing pigeage.
