Compass Box Spice Tree is a refined and original expression within the world of blended Scotch malt. Created by the innovative Compass Box distillery, this whisky stands out for its focus on maturation in casks with new toasted French oak staves, a rare technique in Scotland that imparts a unique spicy depth.
Inspired by the great wines of Bordeaux and the aromatic potential of oak, Spice Tree blends Highland malts—primarily from the Clynelish region—to achieve a sophisticated and warm profile, dominated by the influence of oak, without the use of colorants or chill filtration. The final blend results in a well-rounded, complex, and balanced whisky that celebrates sweet spice, structure, and elegance.

Color ámbar dorado brillante, con reflejos cálidos y cobrizos. Limpio, denso y con buena formación de lágrimas en copa, indicio de estructura y riqueza.
Nariz
Aromas intensos y envolventes de especias dulces como canela, clavo y nuez moscada. Notas de vainilla, crema pastelera y un fondo de frutas maduras (manzana, pera y piel de naranja). Elegante y complejo, con un roble tostado bien integrado.
Boca
Entrada suave, cremosa y con buena amplitud. El roble especiado domina sin ser agresivo, acompañado por sabores de galleta de mantequilla, miel, jengibre y toques de frutas secas. Equilibrio entre dulzor y estructura, con una textura sedosa y persistente.
