Conzia Martínez Lacuesta Vermouth is the ultimate expression of the traditional Rioja aperitif. Since 1937, this family-run winery in Haro has crafted this vermouth using an ancestral formula called "conzia," a carefully selected blend of up to 30 herbs, spices, and botanicals macerated in Airén white wine. After extended aging in American oak barrels and a final aging in French oak, a deep and complex vermouth emerges: the nose is dominated by herbal notes—chamomile, gentian, vanilla, and citrus—while the palate reveals a delicate balance of sweetness, bitterness, and elegant roasted notes.
With a silky body and a long, aromatic finish, it's ideal to savor neat, served very cold, with an orange slice, or as a base for classic cocktails like the Manhattan or Negroni Sbagliato.
