Montecastro comes from an exceptional vineyard with predominantly calcareous soils, located in one of the highest areas of Ribera del Duero, at 860-930 meters of altitude. Environmentally friendly agriculture is practiced, without the use of pesticides and the yield of the strains is limited.

De color rubí violeta brillante.

Nariz

En nariz se muestra expresivo, con una gran intensidad de fruta roja, con toque mineral, conjunto muy completo e integrado con la madera.

Boca

En boca es fresco y frutal con un tanino presente, muy típico de la Tinta del País, pero a la vez muy equilibrado con la fruta y la acidez. Su final es fresco con una persistencia media-larga dejando un post-gusto noble y vivo.
