We proudly present The GlenAllachie 12 Year Old with integrity; with a high 46% ABV, no added colouring and no chill filtration, allowing the quality to speak for itself.
This exceptional malt gets its complex, spicy flavors from Chinquapin (Quercus Muehlenbergii) oak barrels sourced from the northern Ozark region of Missouri. Chinquapin is a subspecies of Quercus Alba and offers spicy flavors and aromas. Air-dried for nearly four years and then toasted to a medium level, these barrels provide the perfect balance of spirit and wood character.
