Bodegas Peñafiel , founded in 2003 as the shared dream of a group of friends, represents the union between tradition and modernity in the heart of the Ribera del Duero region. Located in a stone winery that stands next to the imposing Peñafiel Castle, it is situated in the heart of the "Golden Mile" of the appellation, a privileged location for producing quality wines.
The winemaking is overseen by Mónica García , who leads each harvest with rigor and sensitivity. Under her supervision, Tempranillo, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Verdejo grapes are selected from the winery's own vineyards, located in some of the region's finest plots.
The winery's commitment to excellence is reflected in a meticulous process: hand-harvesting, independent vineyard management, and double grape selection, first in the field and then at the winery. All of this is combined with the use of native yeasts and the application of modern technologies that respect traditional methods, preserving the authenticity of the terroir.
The wines of Bodegas Peñafiel reflect their surroundings: the extreme climate, the contrasts of the land, and the richness of the landscape. Each bottle conveys balance, structure, and elegance. From aged and reserve reds to aromatic whites from Rueda, all express the essence of the Ribera del Duero and the vision of their winemaking team.
More than a winery, Bodegas Peñafiel is a story of friendship, dedication and passion for wine, inviting you to discover and enjoy the magic of the Ribera del Duero in every glass.
