This is surely Álvaro Palacios ' most famous wine . considered one of the best winemakers in Spain.
Pétalos del Bierzo is a jovial wine, full of intoxicating aromas, that clearly conveys all the nuances of Bierzo . It comes from old vines cultivated on steep, rocky slate soils, from which the best of the Mencía grape and the other varieties that make up the blend of this approachable red are extracted. In 2015, Robert Parker chose it as the best value wine in the world.

Nariz
Aromas of strawberry, crushed blackberries and blueberries predominate. There are also hints of black pepper and spices.
Boca
Vibrant, with acidic strawberry flavours. Very immediate, round and juicy. Really pleasant and drinkable.
