DESCRIPCIÓN
It's an iconic Washington State wine, crafted by one of the most respected wineries in the Columbia Valley. Sourced exclusively from the historic Champoux vineyard, this red blend pays homage to the structured, long-lived, and elegant character of the great New World Bordeaux blends.
“Sorella,” which means “sister” in Italian, is more than just a name; it’s an expression of emotional depth and the winery’s philosophy: precision, patience, and respect for the vineyard. This vintage is composed primarily of Cabernet Sauvignon, with small additions of other traditional varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, all grown in alluvial soils with excellent drainage and under a continental climate that allows for slow and balanced ripening.
The winemaking process follows a classic and meticulous approach, with controlled fermentations, extended aging in French oak barrels, and unfiltered bottling, seeking to preserve the terroir's expression to the fullest. Andrew Will Sorella 2017 is a wine of firm structure, crafted to evolve elegantly in the bottle and faithfully express the potential of one of the most celebrated vineyards in the American Northwest.
