DESCRIPCIÓN
Calados del Puntido is one of the oenological gems of Viñedos de Páganos, the Eguren family's winery in Rioja Alavesa. It comes from old vines planted in clay-limestone soils with a pronounced mineral component that defines its unique style. It is made exclusively with Tempranillo grapes, hand-harvested and aged in oak barrels to achieve a perfect balance between power and elegance.
On the nose, it displays an intense expression of ripe black fruit (blackberry, plum), accompanied by balsamic notes, cocoa, fine spices, and a mineral background reminiscent of wet rock. On the palate, it is ample, structured, and profound, with polished tannins and vibrant acidity that sustains a long and persistent finish.
