In 1899, a year after production began at Dewar's new distillery in Aberfeldy, A.J. Cameron created the iconic Dewar's White Label . Over the next 120 years, our most emblematic blend established itself as one of the world's leading blended Scotch whiskies.
In 1892, during an evening with friends in New York, Tommy Dewar asked for his whisky to be served in a tall glass, combined with soda and ice. Thus was born the 'Soda Highball', which became the perfect cocktail to enhance the delicate texture of our whisky.
